Established rock/hip-hop outfit, FELLOWBLISS, is seeking a new bassist.

FELLOWBLISS spent the majority of last year touring independently and with the Silver Ring Thing, and have done so without a permanent bass player.

We’re nearly finished writing our new album and have already begun the recording process, having just finished our new single “ECHO” which is being released (along with the music video) shortly.

Typically, bands looking for a new member have the tendency to “oversell” themselves... however that is not the case here: we are on a search for a bass player that is willing to make the sacrifices that we make daily. We won’t promise you a national arena tour. We won’t promise you legions of fans. We won’t promise you an award-winning album. We will actually only promise you two things: You will work very heard, and if your heart is right, this will be the time of your life.

We’ve been very blessed with the things that we’ve been able to do, blessed with the places we’ve been, and the people we’ve met. We know those blessings will continue, whether great or small.

Some things that you should know about us:
• We originally came together as the band JUBILEE in January 2009. Since that time, we’ve retained 3 of our 5 original members (losing our original bassist and drummer).
• Since our inception, we’ve played over 125 shows together across the southeastern US (FL, GA, AL, TN, LA, MS).
• Because of our shared faith in God, we’re often perceived as a “Christian band.” We all share a common faith; however you’ll never hear us refer to ourselves as such. While we’re not labeled a Christian band (**contact us for more reasons why this is**), we do require you to share in our beliefs, morals and ethics.
• We play secular venues, as well as Christian venues. We’re no strangers to playing in bars, night clubs, churches, youth groups, and Christian and mainstream festivals.
• We’re not perfect… musically or personally. We’ve never claimed to be, and never will be. Take us as we are.
• We highly value friendship and brotherhood over musicality.
• We are currently managed by XL Management.

Our only requirements for a new bassist:
1. You must share our faith in God. We’re not asking you to be some die-hard, bible-thumping lunatic, but it’s important that you share our morals and ethics.

2. You must be 21 years of age or older.

3. If you don’t currently live in or near Southwest Florida (Ft. Myers/Naples area), you must be willing to relocate. You must also commit to doing so within a reasonable amount of time (obviously, we’d help you find a job and a place to live). There are MANY risks associated with this. Please think clearly before making such an important decision.

4. As stated above, we perform in a variety of different venues. You must be comfortable playing in any environment.

5. You must own your own gear. We don’t require a fancy, over the top rig… but a road worthy bass, amp and cab is a necessity.

Other than that, there’s no restriction to size, shape, sex, or race.

This position is open NATIONALLY, but please understand the risks before you consider applying, auditioning and relocating. We guarantee nothing but friendship, and brotherhood.

The audition process:
1. Email us for the application. Fill it out and send it back to us.
2. We’ll send you the audio track for one of our songs. Learn it, and then film yourself playing along to the track. Also, film yourself playing and or “soloing” to another song of your choosing; preferably an original tune. Send us the video on YouTube.
3. If you make it through the first two steps, we’ll invite you to hang out with us. Remember we value friendship and brotherhood over musicality.
4. Fromt there, we’ll invite you to jam/rehearse with us… and perhaps play a show or two.

If you’d like more information about us, or how to apply, please send us an email: auditions[at]fellowbliss.com.
